Original Design Insulator: 15KV thru 35KV

These 15KV thru 35KV Distribution Class Insulators are molded from either Silicone or our proprietary EPDM Rubber formulations.  The end fittings are made from cast ductile iron, galvanized with a 20,000lb tensile strength. The 11/16th diameter FRP rod is the largest diameter fiber glass rod in the industry for this size insulator.   Download PDF

Pin Type ANSI Class 53-3 and 55-5 Silicone Polymer Insulators

These insulators are unique to the electrical industry because they are made with a Nylon core and Silicone Rubber outer shield.  ARP has applied for a PATENT based on these distinctive properties.  We designed these insulators to the existing ANSI Porcelain configuration.  ARP chose to mold the inner core from 30% glass filled 6/6 Nylon for its superior strength, impact, and heat resistant properties.  We chose to mold the outer shield from our proprietary Silicone Polymer because of its excellent Hydrophobicity (self-cleaning), Heat Resistance, and UV/Ozone Resistance.  This is an excellent insulator for use in high contamination areas.

These Pin Type Insulators offer higher heat resistance at amplified voltages than most competitors products due to the higher melting point of Nylon 66 which is encased in HV Silicone Rubber with resistance to sustained temperatures exceeding 500 degrees F.  Download PDF

Horizontal and Vertical Silicone Polymer Line Post Insulators: 15KV thru 69KV

These 15KV thru 69KV Horizontal and Vertical Line Post Insulators are molded from Silicone Rubber exclusively.  The end fittings are made from Spheroidal Graphite cast iron, galvanized.  The fiber glass rod is made from Boron-free E-Glass.  Cable clamp and stud base dimensions are in accordance with ANSI specifications.  The stud base of the insulator and the galvanized cast iron gain base are made with mounting hole locations that can adapt to existing gain bases and hole locations in the pole.  Trunnion mount cable clamps are available as required.

15KV Silicone Polymer Insulator with Aluminum End Fittings

These insulators are manufactured for use in high contamination areas.  They are molded exclusively from our High-Grade Electrical Silicone Rubber compound.  The end fittings are made with high strength cast Aluminium and a Stainless Steel round pin and Stainless Steel spring cotter key.  Download PDF

Polymer Suspension Insulators for Transmission Line: 69KV to 230KV

Molded exclusively from our High-Grade Electrical Silicone Rubber compound with end fittings made of forged steel or carbon steel castings; galvanized in accordance with ASTM A153 standards.  These end fitting configurations allow us to supply insulators with SML ratings from 25,000 lbs to 50,000 lbs - all Stainless Steels split pins and cotter pins are supplied.  We use Boron-free E-Glass fiber glass rod.  Additionally, these insulator's have the advantage of being lightweight, smaller in size, and can assume complicated shapes, as compared to conventional porcelain insulators.
